Met in South Weber with Riley, Ben, Bryant and Ken. Planned on going 2h30 mins. I felt pretty good through 2 hrs. and then my body started catching up to me. Cardio wise I felt great, my legs were pretty tired. The last 20 mins. I was ready for the run to be over. It was funny looking at the overall time and distance after. I would have easily beat my marathon PR if I have gone just over 3 more miles and it would probably be around 4-10 mins faster. Especially with the course that we took today, it definitely wasn't your downhill course. We were all over the place, quite a bit of elevation gain and loss. I was glad to be out running. Running close to a marathon PR in training was a great bonus! |
